  He shall propose planning layouts of the total areas including landscaping. Also identify the locations of the various facilities within the plan, and, and prepare a ADA CoEter layout. He shall develop all Architectural designs, components and working drawings, in accordance with acceptable standards and specifications.

  Key Qualifications:

  Arch. Ernest Mensah Afriyie is a certifies Architect with over 12 years of post-qualification experience in architecture, project management, and contract administration. He is a registered professional member of the Ghana Institute of Architects. He holds a BSc. degree in Design (Architecture) and a postgraduate diploma in Architecture. As an Architect, he has worked comprehensively on various consulting services involving Urban Infrastructure Projects through all levels: feasibility studies, community engagement, detailed design, tendering, construction supervision and post-construction supervision. He is well versed in preparing architectural designs and working drawings.

  • Principal Architect on the Design and Construction of Factory Facility for Translight Solar Ltd. This project involves the project inception and briefing stages, preparation of sketch designs and working drawings, preparation of tender document and tender evaluation, preparation of working details at post contract stage and construction supervision. (Client: Translight Solar Ltd. August 2022 – Ongoing)

  • Architect on the Design Review and Construction Supervision of Five (5) Storey 608 Apartment Units of 4 Bedroom in Accra. This project involved the architectural design and construction of residential apartment. He was responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and final working drawings and landscape designs for construction. He supervised the construction of the project. (Client: West Hills Ridge Ltd. 2017 – Ongoing)

• Architect on the Design and Construction of 60-Unit Residential Apartment for BK- Agro-Chemicals Company. The project involves the design, tendering and evaluation and the construction supervision of the 60 Unit residential block. He was responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and final working drawings and landscape designs for construction. He supervised the construction of the project. (Client: BK-Agro Chemical Company, DUR, June 2019 – December 2022)

• Architect on the Construction Supervision of Development of Kasoa Terminal for the Department of Urban Roads. The project involves the construction supervision of Terminal Building, Security Post, 2 No.-12-Seater WC Public Toilets, Office Building, Fence Wall, Police, Fire and Ambulance Stations, and other external works at the capital of Awutu Senya East Municipality in Central Region. He was responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and final working drawings and landscape designs for construction. He supervised the construction of the project. (Client: Department of Urban Roads, DUR, February 2018 – December 2018)

He was responsible for the preparation of architectural designs and final working drawings and landscape designs for construction. He supervised the construction of the project. (Client: Mercury Heights, December 2016 – December 2017)

• Architect on the Detail Design of Terminals, Bus Depots, and Tributaries of Pilot Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Route in Accra. This project involves engineering and architectural design review, detail design, environmental impact assessment and preparation of bidding documents for tributary/feeder routes, bus terminals and depots with offices, canteen, changing room facilities, bus maintenance workshops and related facilities. He prepared conceptual designs and working drawings for tributary terminals, bus terminal, bus depots (for 315 buses capacity) and related facilities including final landform designs for the specific project sites.
